Which Pathway Is Right for You?

ACC (Associate Certified Coach) and PCC (Professional Certified Coach) are the first two levels of credentialing offered by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). ACC is typically the starting point for coaches seeking an internationally recognized credential, while PCC reflects a more advanced level of coaching education, experience, and demonstrated coaching proficiency.

To qualify for ACC, coaches must complete at least 60 hours of coach-specific education and document 100 coaching hours. PCC requires at least 125 hours of coach-specific education and 500 coaching hours, demonstrating a deeper level of coaching experience and competency. Both credentials require mentor coaching, a performance evaluation, and passing the ICF Credentialing Exam. Talentra Institute offers pathways designed to support coaches pursuing either ACC or PCC credentialing.

Talentra Institute offers pathways designed to support coaches at various stages of their credentialing journey, including those who have previously completed coach-specific training. Eligibility and program fit will depend on your prior education, coaching experience, and credentialing goals.

The ACC to PCC Bridge is designed for coaches who have already completed ACC-level coach training and are ready to pursue PCC credentialing. The program provides the additional coach-specific education, mentor coaching, performance evaluation support, and credentialing guidance needed to help participants meet PCC credentialing requirements. Individual pathways may vary based on prior training and coaching experience.

We're so confident in the quality of our training that participants who complete an eligible Talentra Institute ACC or PCC credentialing program and sit for the ICF Credentialing Exam may qualify for our Credentialing Assurance Program. If you do not pass the exam on your first attempt, Talentra Institute will cover the cost of one exam retake, subject to program eligibility requirements and guidelines. 

The Portfolio Pathway is an ICF credentialing option for coaches who complete qualifying coach education through a non-accredited provider. Applicants must submit documentation of their coach education and meet all applicable ICF credentialing requirements, including coaching experience, before earning an ICF credential. 

Yes. If you complete Talentra's program before accreditation is granted, you may still pursue an ICF credential through the Portfolio Pathway, provided you meet all applicable ICF credentialing requirements.
