Our Story

Built from Experience. Driven by Purpose.

Coaching changed the trajectory of our founder's career long before Talentra Institute existed. Early in her career, working with an executive coach helped Dr. Danielle Lombard-Sims build the confidence, self-awareness, and leadership capabilities that accelerated her path to the C-suite by the age of 35.
Throughout a career spanning nearly three decades, Dr. Lombard-Sims has experienced the impact of coaching from multiple perspectives experienced the impact of coaching from multiple perspectives, as a coaching client, C-suite executive, and executive coach. She saw firsthand how the ability to ask powerful questions, create insight, build self-awareness, and strengthen accountability could change the way people think, lead, and grow.
Talentra Institute grew from those experiences and a belief that coaching capability can be intentionally developed. We created the Institute to prepare coaches, professionals, and organizations to use coaching to help others discover new possibilities, take ownership of meaningful change, and create lasting impact.
Today, Talentra Institute brings together evidence-based coaching principles, behavioral science, and real-world experience to create coaching education designed not simply to teach coaching, but to develop the capability to coach.

Why Talentra Exists

We believe coaching has the power to change the way people think, grow, and create impact. The ability to help someone gain insight, build self-awareness, take ownership, and turn awareness into lasting behavior change is a capability that extends far beyond a single coaching conversation.

Talentra Institute exists to develop that capability in coaches, professionals, and organizations. Through coaching education, credentialing pathways, and specialized programs, we prepare people to use coaching with greater skill, confidence, and intention.

Coaching Education. Leadership Impact. Lasting Change.

How We Approach Coaching Education

At Talentra Institute, coaching capability is developed through practice, reflection, and feedback.

Talentra Institute is supported by a growing network of experienced coaches and subject matter experts who bring deep professional expertise and a shared commitment to creating meaningful learning experiences.

At Talentra Institute, our programs combine evidence-based coaching principles, behavioral science, and real-world application with opportunities to coach, observe, reflect, and receive feedback.

Participants actively coach, observe, reflect, and receive feedback throughout the learning experience, strengthening their coaching presence, refining their skills, and building confidence over time.

Whether pursuing an ICF credential, expanding expertise in a specialty area, or developing coaching capability within an organization, the goal is the same: to move learning from understanding to application.

Our Commitment

We are committed to creating coaching education that is rigorous, engaging, and grounded in the highest standards of professional coaching.
Our programs are designed to challenge thinking, encourage reflection, strengthen coaching capability, and create meaningful opportunities for practice and feedback. We believe effective coaching requires more than completing a course. It requires curiosity, self-awareness, ethical practice, and a commitment to continued growth.
At Talentra Institute, our commitment is to prepare people not simply to learn coaching, but to coach with skill, confidence, and purpose.
